Booking

The booking remains open for 5 days after the inquiry and is firmed up on receipt of the deposit of 30% of the total rental sum for your stay (excl. rent guarantee).

By transferring the deposit, you indicate that you agree to the house rules and the general terms and conditions as described below.
 
14 days before the first day of your stay, the balance of the total rental sum, plus the 200 euros of the rent guarantee, must be transferred to the abovementioned account.
 
If these payment deadlines are not respected, the lessor reserves the right to cancel the booking.
 
If, after the rental period, lessor and lessee agree in consultation that there is no damage and all the rental conditions have been fulfilled, the rent guarantee will be reimbursed in full within one week (7 days).

Cancellation

Cancellation is possible up to 3 weeks (21 days) before the first day of your stay. In case of cancellation after that period, the deposit will not be reimbursed.
 
Lessor reserves the right to cancel the rental contract in case of force majeure such as fire, storm damage, etc. In those exceptional situations, lessor does not owe the lessee any compensation. However, the deposit, rent guarantee and any other rent received will immediately be paid back.

Liability

Lessor cannot be held liable for theft, accidents or damage, including to third parties, during your stay.
In case of disputes, only the courts of the legal district of Ypres have jurisdiction. These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Belgian law.
